  • PCLM is actively working toward the accreditation of lifestyle medicine centers, clinics, facilities, and practitioners through a council recognized by the Department of Health. This aims to pave the way for the inclusion of lifestyle medicine services in PhilHealth coverage.

  • Hence, as a newly emerging medical specialty, Lifestyle Medicine requires the ongoing development of standards and practice frameworks aligned with the Philippine Qualifications Framework (PQF) set for a Diplomate credential.

  • This will ensure that lifestyle medicine practitioners possess the necessary clinical competencies to deliver high-quality services that are consistent with the standards of established medical specialties.
